Social involvement

SOCIO-COMMUNITY ACTIVITIES WITHIN OUR SENIOR LIVING COMPLEXES

Château Bellevue is proud to offer its large halls to socio-community organizations, artisans, painters and theatre groups. Also, Lien et Partage, an organization that helps older people in need, has their offices at Château Bellevue.

Les Chevaliers de Colomb and other socio-community organizations use Château Bellevue’s facilities for free.

We organize and host conferences and workshops on a wide range of subjects, such as conferences about grief, planning for retirement, raising awareness about Alzheimer’s, and elderly abuse prevention, to name just a few. These activities are for residents and the general population, whom we encourage to participate.

PAIR PROGRAM AT CHÂTEAU BELLEVUE

CHÂTEAU BELLEVUE IS RESPONSIBLE FOR THE PAIR PROGRAM IN NOUVELLE-BEAUCE. A PROGRAM ESTABLISHED IN COLLABORATION WITH THE SAINTE-MARIE POLICE FORCE, THE NOUVELLE-BEAUCE SQ, THE MUNICIPALITY OF NOUVELLE-BEAUCE, THE CSSS OF ALPHONSE-DESJARDINS AND THE MUNICIPALITY OF NOUVELLE-BEAUCE’S TABLE DES AÎNÉS.

The PAIR program provides a free automatic telephone service that calls seniors to ensure they are in good health. Those subscribed receive calls once or several times per day. If a person does not answer, an alert is raised. Those responsible for the system always check to confirm whether the person is in distress. All ageing people or those losing their independence can use this free service offered through PAIR program agencies.
